Wine Review: Cabernet Sauvignon is the king of red grape varieties. Cabernet Sauvignon is the result of a genetic cross between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc. It is the principal grape of Bordeaux and California's most prized and expensive wines. The beauty of this resilient red wine grape is the many different styles of wine it is capable of yielding. Our Cabernet Sauvignon shows vibrant blackberry and red cherry flavors with notes of cinnamon and toasted nuts.

My Review: The smell was very sweet and I got blackberries, raspberries, black cherries and a little hint of maraschino cherries. The flavor was dirty and earthy. Relatively soft tannins… kind of cheap tannins. Bold and long finish. A little fruity, a little petrol-y.
